Learn More About Tom’s Great Historical Fiction Novel:

Captain John Hubbard Forsyth’s Journey from the quiet New York Town of Avon to the fiery last stand of the Alamo is the story of a man shaped by duty, heartbreak, and unshakeable courage. His is a story that not only honors the well-known names of the Alamo – Crockett, Travis, Bowie – but also shines a light on a brave soul whose sacrifice might otherwise be overlooked. His lineage of service and steadfast resolve add depth to his final act of loyalty. More than just a historical account, it is a tribute to his enduring spirit of ordinary people who choose honor over safety, and whose names deserve to be remembered.

Tom Schobert is a retired health care administrator from West Seneca, New York and a retired Lieutenant-Colonel in the United States Army. A graduate of Canisius College (now University) in Buffalo, New York, he is also a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
